Shares of Bumble retreated after the company said its founder is stepping down as chief executive and will be succeeded by the chief of Slack Technologies.
The stock was down 8% at $12.60 in early trading. Shares have fallen 40% since the start of the year.
The dating-app company said Monday morning that CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd is stepping down and will be succeeded by Lidiane Jones, who became the chief executive of Slack in January.
Jones will officially take over on Jan. 2, with Wolfe Herd remaining on as executive chair.
Bumble will report its third-quarter earnings on Tuesday.
