Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.86%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.86%.

The best performers of the session on the were Genmab (CSE:), which rose 4.98% or 136.00 points to trade at 2,869.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bavarian Nordic (CSE:) added 2.81% or 5.70 points to end at 208.30 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was up 2.19% or 3.90 points to 182.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:), which fell 4.27% or 41.60 points to trade at 932.60 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) declined 4.24% or 8.55 points to end at 193.10 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) was down 1.35% or 1.50 points to 110.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 67 and 20 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.19% or 0.86 to $71.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.80% or 0.61 to hit $75.80 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 14.10 to trade at $2,023.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.71% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 101.91.
