Aaron Rodgers Has The Most Expensive Home Among NFL Players

Maybe it was the cell service.

Former Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers said the reason he didn’t return calls this past offseason from Packers’ general manager Brian Gutekunst was spotty cell service.

“People who know me, I’m fortunate to live in a beautiful house,” Rodgers said after being traded to the New York Jets. “The only downside is I have very limited cell service. If you want to get ahold of me, I need to see your face. You have to FaceTime me.”

Betting.com recently analyzed the cost of the richest NFL athlete’s current homes, to reveal which stars own the most expensive pieces of real estate and how much they are worth per square foot.

Rodgers ranks as the NFL player with the most expensive home. His house in Malibu, Calif., costs $28 million and is $6,040 per square foot.

So maybe, just maybe, he couldn’t find a place inside his mansion to connect with Gutekunst.

Rodgers, the 24th pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, is entering his 19th season in the NFL. To date, his career earnings are $305.6 million.

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson comes in second place among NFL players with a home valued at $25 million. Wilson’s house in Denver — which is 20,060 square feet — is the largest property in the NFL’s top 10 ranking.

Tom Brady comes in third place, as the retired quarterback purchased a $25 million property and surrounding land in Miami, Fla. Brady then demolished that to make way for a brand new 17,000-square-foot mansion.

LeBron James ranks as the NBA player with the most expensive home. His $36.8 million house in Los Angeles was once home to Kathryn Hepburn.

Los Angeles Clippers player Russell Westbrook ranks second among NBA players with a $33 million dollar modern farmhouse-style mansion in Los Angeles which he purchased in 2022.

James is also in third place with a $24.5 million “second” home, which is also in Los Angeles.
