International stocks trading in New York closed mostly lower on Friday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts fell 0.3% to 150.64. The European index declined 0.2% to 149.84, the Asian index dropped 0.6% to 166.12, the Latin American index rose 0.9% to 192.28 and the emerging markets index dropped 0.8% to 274.85.
ADRs of Companhia de Saneamento Basico do Estado de Sao Paulo on Friday closed up 8% to $10.58 after the water and sewerage utility reported better-than-expected expense figures for the first quarter.
ADRs of Compagnie Financiere Richemont finished up 3.4% to $17.21 after the Swiss luxury-goods major said it was confident of further cashing in on a recovery in Chinese demand.
ADRs of Scor closed up 8.4% to $2.79 after the French reinsurer posted first-quarter results which analysts said beat expectations.
