Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 1.62%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:), which rose 6.81% or 274.00 points to trade at 4,295.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:) added 5.77% or 120.00 points to end at 2,200.00 and Delek Group (TASE:) was up 5.13% or 2,200.00 points to 45,100.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.18% or 305.00 points to trade at 9,274.00 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:) declined 1.71% or 126.00 points to end at 7,240.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.63% or 1,240.00 points to 75,000.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 293 to 163 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.71% or 126.00 to 7,240.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.37% or 2.88 to $82.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.93% or 2.61 to hit $86.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 10.55 to trade at $2,009.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.71% to 4.04, while EUR/ILS fell 0.28% to 4.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 105.95.
