Texas Roadhouse said Chris Monroe, who was at Southwest Airlines for 30 years, will become the restaurant company’s chief financial officer, effective June 28.
He was most recently senior vice president of finance and treasurer at Southwest.
In January, Texas Roadhouse said CFO Tonya Robinson retired and that Keith Humpich, vice president of finance, would be interim CFO. Also in January, the company said Chief Learning and Culture Officer Gina Tobin was promoted to president.
Two weeks ago, Texas Roadhouse reported a higher first-quarter profit and said revenue rose 19% to $1.17 billion. The company has said it expects menu pricing actions will help 2023 results.
