MillerKnoll reported a smaller-than-expected drop in sales in the fiscal first quarter. The furniture company raised its adjusted earnings outlook for the full year and struck an optimistic tone on back-to-office trends. Shares advance 17% to $22.32 after-hours.
Cardiff Oncology reported positive data in two trials evaluating the use of onvansertib to treat different types of cancer. The company said positive data from its pancreatic cancer trial would support a first-line pancreatic investigator-initiated trial. Shares rose 20% to $1.95 after hours.
Morphic Holdings said Chief Executive Praveen Tipirneni would take a medical leave of absence after suffering an “emergent medical event.” The biopharmaceutical company said he would return to the role after he recovers, and there will be no change in operations as a result of the leave. Shares sink 7.2% to $19.80.
