Dow futures trade steady, jobs data in focus

Investing.com – U.S. stock futures were trading in a tight range during Monday’s evening deals, following a mixed session for major benchmark averages as investors brace for key employment data set for release throughout the week.

By 6:20pm ET (10:20pm GMT) and were flat while added 0.1%.

Ahead in Tuesday’s trade, investors will be closely monitoring fresh data and a speech from , while and are slated for release later in the week.

Among earnings, companies including McCormick & Company Incorporated (NYSE:), NovaGold Resources Inc (NYSE:) and Cal-Maine Foods Inc (NASDAQ:) are set to report quarterly results.

During Monday’s regular session, the fell 74.2 points or 0.2% to 33,433.4, the finished flat at 4,288.4 and the added 88.5 points or 0.7% to 13,307.8.

On the bond markets, rates were at fresh 16-year highs of 4.681%.
