Viking Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:) 6% HIGHER; announced that new results from the company’s Phase 1 single ascending dose (SAD) and multiple ascending dose (MAD) clinical trial of VK2735 were featured in an oral presentation at ObesityWeek 2023, the annual meeting of The Obesity Society. VK2735 is a novel dual agonist of the glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptors in development for the potential treatment of various metabolic disorders such as obesity.
Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. (NASDAQ:) 5% LOWER; announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of up to $300,000,000 of shares of its common stock
United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:) 4% LOWER; Q3 EPS of $3.65, $0.24 better than the analyst estimate of $3.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $14.48 billion versus the consensus estimate of $14.43 billion.
JB Hunt Transport Services Inc (NASDAQ:) 3% LOWER; Q3 EPS of $1.80, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.85. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.16 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.18 billion.
Microsoft (NASDAQ:) 1% HIGHER; is expected to bring on Amazon (NASDAQ:) as a customer for its 365 cloud productivity tools, Insider reported.
