PPG has divested its traffic solutions operations in Australia and New Zealand to payment markings company Geveko Markings.
The Pittsburgh-based paints and coatings supplier didn’t disclose the terms of the deal.
The sale includes a production, quality control and research and development facility in Ingleburn, Australia, a production facility in Dandendong, Australia, and sales offices and warehouses.
Ed Baiden, PPG global general manager for traffic solutions, said the move was part of a portfolio review meant to grow profitability. The company plans to focus investments on higher-growth areas.
